- Q. Do we pay for X-AXYS support?
- A. No. We are compensated separately by the manufacturer, based on global sales volumes. You receive the same territory commission as if you were to deal directly with them.
- Q. So how does X-AXYS help us?
- A. All successful distributors require a certain amount of direct support from the manufacturer. We understand this, so all information, sales advantages etc. are collated and presented. We also provide targeted sales and marketing support for all products you carry from our range, as well as technical support if required.
- Q. Can you support the equipment?
- A. We have offices in Europe, Asia and the USA and can offer technical support in most locations, if required.
- Q. How long are we contracted?
- A. We understand you will require time to introduce and promote the new product so typically we will contract for 12 months on a rolling agreement.
- Q. What if we can’t sell the product?
- A. If the products are not successful we will look at the reasons and discuss them with you. Our marketing team can also discuss strategies to help you launch the products.
- Q. Do we have to take all the products in your range?
- A. No. You can choose just one, or any number of the available product lines, whichever suits your requirements.
- Q. Will other companies offer these products in my territory?
- A. We prefer to have exclusivity agreements with our distributors although some products are not exclusive due to the manufacturer’s wishes, or because one supplier would struggle to cover larger territories. These details would be clarified during our initial discussions.
- Q. Do we have to work on pre-set margins?
- A. Usually we supply the goods exclusively to you at a fixed transfer price, allowing you to mark-up the products as required. If a manufacturer wants to cap a selling price, we will advise you during initial negotiations.
- Q. Do you advertise or Exhibit?
- A. Yes, X-AXYS is focused on developing the PULSAR brand as well as the brands of our partners. We will be exhibiting in Asia, Europe and the USA over the course of 2006 and beyond. Regular press releases, newsletters and email campaigns supplement our branding strategy.
- Q. Do you assist us if we exhibit?
- A. We are currently designing re-usable PULSAR booths and various display materials which we can offer you. Also we usually attend all the major shows, networking with our manufacturing and representative partners.
- Q. Do some of your partner distributors carry the whole PULSAR range?
- A. Yes. Although they are not required to do so, we are seeing more and more companies enjoying the benefits of promoting themselves as the local PULSAR supplier.
- Q. What if some of our existing lines are competitive to some carried by X-AXYS?
- A. With such a wide ranging portfolio it is highly probable that some of our lines will compete. However we do not require you to handle any products you don’t wish to, so simply choose the ones you want and ignore any clashes.
- Q. Can X-AXYS source products for us?
- A. Although not a main part of our service we are realizing that with our global presence and significant manufacturing connections, sourcing products for individual requirements is possible. As such we have successfully sourced products for our distributor partners even though those lines were not included in our product portfolio. We welcome your enquiry and usually we can find you a product within a short period of time.
