Q. How can we be sure X-AXYS will pick the best Distributors for us?
A. The management team behind X-AXYS are vastly experienced in developing, supporting and managing international distribution channel networks, and in many cases know the right distributors for your product personally.
Q. Why wouldn’t we just advertise and exhibit at the many global trade shows to try and recruit regional distributors?
A. This is exactly what most companies do and they all encounter the frustration of appointing the wrong rep, loosing valuable momentum in that territory. Sometimes the appointed rep's will be successful and sometimes they won't, but the main drawback is the time, money and resources involved!
Q. How do we pay for X-AXYS' services?
A. There are two main ways to work with us - usually a global transfer price is agreed. We will then set regional channel transfer prices, giving the distributors freedom to set local end-user prices (within manufacturer-recommended limits if desired). Alternatively, a global sales commission is applied and the distributors receive the standard commission, with X-AXYS receiving the difference.
Q. How does that help us?
A. If you want international representation you would need sales and support staff, this would be a very expensive fixed overhead. X-AXYS only get paid when we have secured an order for you.
Q. Can you support our equipment?
A. Yes. We have specialist engineers who can be trained on your equipment, allowing them to train new reps and customers as well as cover service requirements.
Q. How long do we have to sign up for?
A. Realistically it will take several months to recruit the regional distributors and then launch in each territory, so typically we like to agree a 2 year deal with a rolling 12 month follow-on contract.
Q. What if our products don't sell?
A. If your products are not successful with our chosen distributors we will look at the reasons and discuss them with you. We can then look at various other strategies including direct representation. Remember, it's just as much in our interest to sell your product as it is yours!
Q. What if you choose to drop our product?
A. If your product is well received it is unlikely either party would want to stop the relationship.
Q. Can you cancel our contract?
A. Our initial due diligence should eliminate any potential problems but if we encounter poor quality of the supplied product, bad lines of communication, or other similar bad practices we would be obliged to correct these before they damage the reputation of X-AXYS and our distributor network.
Q. Can you help us become more competitive?
A. Simply by working with us, you are becoming more streamlined, allowing you to focus on product development, and therefore more competitive. However, we can also help with any expansion or cost cutting requirements.

A. Yes certainly - in fact we encourage it! We would be happy to give you the details of current manufacturing partners and you can discuss the experiences they have had working with X-AXYS.
